Why are the curtains black? Why are there shelves? Why is this bed so big? Why. . . It took Lei a while to figure out what was going on. It shouldn't have taken her so long to realize she wasn't in her own bedroom though. However, realization came over her together with a huge shock. Her eyes widened and she quickly clasped her hand over her mouth barely covering a loud gasp. She lifted the sheets up to check if she was wearing anything and thank goodness she was wearing an oversized t-shirt which wasn't hers but it was better than nothing.
"No no no no." she mumbled to herself as she rolled out of the bed together with the sheets to cover herself more than the tee did. She wrapped the sheet around her as if she were a sushi roll with only her arms peeking out. "Ummm..." Her eyes were darting around the room to see if she could find out where exactly she was - or at whose house or apartment she was but she did not dare to take a look out of the window in case someone could see her. The door it was then. Still wrapped up like a burrito the girl jumped towards the door which lead to the living room. She continued her way to the front door only to find out that it was locked. And there was no key. A mixture of anxiety and frustration came over her. "Who locks his door when he's home." she snickered and jumped back to the bedroom.
Lei was complaining that her friend had the interesting plot when it came to men while she was degraded to the supporting character as she would like to say. As a writer she always wanted a more interesting story than the average person but it was really difficult to get by one in a small this town. Celeste was lucky. But the bartender her friend had a crush on really wasn't Lei's type to begin with. Sure he was good looking and had this mysterious vibe around him but there just was something that she didn't like about him. Maybe his hair. Maybe his eyes. Whatever it was she didn't really care about it anyway. All that she cared about was her own story line.
Standing in front of the bed she looked down at the male still soundlessly sleeping in it. She crouched down, making sure the blanket was still in place, and poked the guys' forehead. "Excuse me. Hello. Hellooo. Good morning!"
