[attr="class","largeleft"] [attr="class","largehover"] [attr="class","uglyhoverinside"] [attr="class","bioheader"]about. [attr="class,"bioentry"] Emma is your classic first-born kid. She's a natural leader and likes to be in control. She likes order and routine and is impeccable with even the smallest details of a project. She's a very goal oriented person and tends to view success as accomplishing achievements. She isn't one for violence but enjoys confrontation when it calls for it, like arguing a case, she's more brain over brawn you could say. She loves her job and is very good at it. She's a planner and a thinker, she isn't one to have her head in the clouds. She's a great singer though you'd have to get quite a few drinks in her before she'd sing in front of strangers. She finds it hard to let go of things and she's more of an introvert which can sometimes come off as a loner. [attr="class","bioheader"]history. [attr="class,"bioentry"]Emma was born into a well-off family in Feronia Hills. Her parents were both from old money before marriage and their combined endeavors just advanced the family wealth. Emma was born the oldest and given expectations from the very beginning. The word can't wasn't allowed in her vocabulary. She was three when her parents had her brother who was born prematurely resulting in severe disabilities. It was something no one saw coming and they weren't truly strong enough to face. Emma had watched as her parents tried to make her brother more normal, tried to make him into what they had imagined him to be and not what he was. The boy didn't make it past his fifth birthday and her parents never really recovered. She was seven and things changed abruptly. It was as if her brother's death was a failure mark on her parent's life and the only way they could cope was to make Emma the best of the best. She went from simply school to school with personal tutors advanced in their degrees coming over three times a week, riding lessons were changed to etiquette courses and there just simply was no time for extracurriculars or fun. Family vacations involved trips to the UN conference and travel abroad. She wasn't allowed to be a teenager. That was until she met Darren or rather truly saw him for the first time. They were freshman at the same school and she thought his face had seemed familiar. Her family pool boy had turned out to be the handsome guy with eyes she couldn't forget in three of her classes. That chance encounter had been the one happy spot in her life. She was in love with the boy, absolutely in love but he wasn't what would have ever been allowed in her future. He was rough and had no bright future planned he had seemed to rebel at every thought of aristocracy and her parent's loathed him, loathed the very thought of him. They had kept their love a secret for so long until one day their luck ran out. Her parent's found out and made it clear it was over. She graduated top of her class with honors of course and was determined to keep seeing him but her parents sat her down for what they called an intervention. They spoke about her baby brother and how they wanted the best for her, their only child and that the family legacy was on her now, their futures were all on her. If that all wasn't enough the final nail in the coffin was the assurance that if she chose the path with Darren in it she would no longer be a part of their lives. No inheritance, no family, no home, no future. She wrote him a letter, crying the whole time, feeling her heart break as she wrote out her goodbye. She didn't mention her family's involvement just that she had to go and that was that. She left the Hills and was accepted into Yale, from there her degree and career took off. She got a job straight out of law school and started dating a partner of the firm. She hadn't thought about her old life, she was too busy excelling. She won her first huge case which put her in the paper and things were only going up from there. She was on track to become partner when her boyfriend proposed. She happily accepted and called her parents to break the news. They were thrilled of course and everything seemed like her, their...everyone's plan was going accordingly. Her mother asked her to come back home to help finalize a few of the legal things with selling their home. They wanted to move closer to where she was, life in New York with a socialite daughter was too good to pass up pining away near the sleepy bay town they were in. That's where she finds herself, visiting the old life she left behind for one more goodbye. [attr="class","bioheader"]loves and hobbies.
