He's a flirt and a romantic, he's a funny guy who loves pranks while being the most dedicated doctor he possibly can. He's smart but can be foolish. There isn't one box this guy fits into. He isn't much of a fighter but wouldn't necessarily turn down the occasional random bar fight. He likes pushing people and comes off as annoying quite a bit though at times you couldn't find a better listener. He's got a soft spot for his sister and would do almost anything for her. He and his brother have a rough relationship and he doesn't worry over the future.

[attr="class,"bioentry"]Nathaniel grew up in a fairly traditional home. His Father the CEO of a financial investing company and his mother a curator for the Brooklyn Museum. He was born as the middle Stellis child with his brother two years older and his sister a whole nine years younger. When Ben was born the family was happy with their two children. Their life was about as perfect as they could have planned it to be which was in fact the truth. Carrie and Alex Stellis had their lives planned to the minuscule detail and followed accordingly. Their eldest son Matthias was going to be their financial heir to take over after Alex retired, Nathaniel was to be the family doctor, his med school already picked out for him and though Nathaniel and Matthias were barely in middle school their lives were laid out in front of them for the taking. Yes, things had gone perfectly to plan...until Carrie cheated. The product of that affair was his baby sister Raelynn. The family knew about the affair and though Carrie and Alex were unhappy and both seeing other partners the two stayed together for sake of the family image.

Nathaniel grew up closest to his sister and it was almost like her surprise rebelious presence awoke something up in him. From the moment she was born the boy did everything against the family plan. He was outspoken, he was loud, he was unruly and to his parent's horror he appreciated pranks, flirting and coloring outside the lines. Debauchery and mayhem replacing debutantes and marriage propositions. He graduated, without honors thank-you-very-much and had planned on becoming a professional surfer or perhaps a vagrant when one night he visited the hospital with a friend who had just a tad bit too much to drink. He was barely eighteen and he was goofing off with a pair of latex gloves when he heard commotion. A man was rushed in, there was blood, there was shouting, scrambling and chaos. Nathaniel had followed instinctively and marveled at the doctor in charge, she was calm and she was commanding. He was intently aware of every sound she made and she was captivating. They had pushed past doors that wouldn't allow him entry and while he stood on his toes trying to catch the last glimpses of the medical team rushing away he felt his heart hammering against his chest. He was excited about something for the first time perhaps in his life. Not just excited really but truly obsessed and engulfed. He enrolled in med school the next day for Fall semester and that was that.

Nathaniel graduated top of his class at Harvard specializing in emergency medicine and general surgery. His parents were thrilled of course which hadn't sat well with the boy. He spent three years of residency in Boston before uprooting his life there and moving to Delphin Bay. The town was small, it wasn't glamorous nor prestigious but he liked it and that was all that mattered to him. He's been in the town for about a year.
